My story begins in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the midst of the Civil War that took place. I left as a mere 5 year old to the United States. This change had felt extremely uncomfortable at the time. Little did I know that this experience along with other events that would take place in my journey would slowly mold me into the man I am today.

I didn't exact have your normal "learn to drive at 15", "go to the mall with my friends at 13" childhood. In fact, I had a really different experience growing up. My father works for a Non-Profit so that allowed us to see so many different countries. I have lived in Bosnia, The United States, Russia, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, and Costa Rica. Even though I said trilingual in my bio, I did have an opportunity to learn Russian, French, Italian, and Arabic but I never really kept up with them.

After moving around nearly every 2 to 3 years, I decided to go to college in Fulton, Missouri. I know right? What an ODD decision. An odd decision that would lead me to meeting the love of my life and future business partner. It's truly crazy how life has this way of leading you not to where you want to be, but where you need to be.

After college, I worked a plethora of jobs. See I initially wanted to study psychology with the goal of helping people in mind but at the time working in "business" and wearing cool suits with ties seemed like the way to go. Now I don't regret going into the professional world of business (I don't like to dwell on regrets and look at every experience as an opportunity for growth), I actually have found a way to help people in every role that I have worked. One thing led to another and I managed to grow my career at a quicker rate than I had initially anticipated. During this part of my life I found relief in the form of fitness (apparently working an adult job can be stressful! Who would have guessed?).

It wasn't until 2022 where my entire mindset began to shift. I had realized that I am in full control of my life and any outcome that I want to achieve was attainable through effort and patience. You will come to realize by getting to know more about me through my writing that I am a huge believer in accountability. Now I'm not saying to always take the blame for things but more so to be aware of your actions and your ability to react to other's actions.
